Page 15 – work in progress
Oh boy, I swear a month hasn’t past since the last page update, I SWEAR. And it’s not like I haven’t been working on pages – it’s just the past month had a lot going on.
A bit of stress from my part-time job prompted me to just draw for fun. Not that drawing this comic isn’t fun, it’s just that I needed to draw something else to avoid burn out. Also, my etsy store got unprecedented traction, as I launched my F1 All-Star Keyrings for sale and they’ve been going down a treat. If you bought one and you’re reading this, I cannot thank you enough for your support.
And I suppose the biggest thing was that I was away in Lanzarote for two weeks, having just arrived back home midnight last Wednesday. It was a well needed holiday to be honest. It even came with a new experience in that, I actually took part in my first every karting grand prix! It was one of the most exhilarating things I have ever done, and I have caught the bug big time. I hope I can make karting even a semi-regular thing in my life. I even bide my time to draw more pages before I went karting and even amended this page you see here, so that I could incorporate the first hand experience I now have and translate that into the comic.
Now I’m back home, but I’ve returned to quite a bit of commission work. So I’m going to try build up a bit of a buffer for a while, but trying my best to work on this in tandem with everything else I’m doing. Please stay tuned, I made a new twitter account for the comic that you can see on this website so that instead of these long-winded monthly update posts, you can quickly see where I am with things even if there hasn’t been an update or a blog post.
Also Daniel Ricciardo won Monaco and Fernando Alonso won Le Mans, I am living for 2018.
